The Service

Can They Have It? is a general informational pet-food safety checker. Visitors can type a food or submit an image and receive an automated safe-or-unsafe response. We provide no user accounts, payments, veterinary services, diagnosis, treatment, or emergency care.

Veterinary and Safety Notice

This tool provides general informational guidance only and is NOT veterinary advice. Always consult a licensed veterinarian before feeding your pet anything you are unsure about. We make no guarantee of accuracy and are not liable for any harm to any animal.

If you believe an animal has eaten something dangerous, contact a licensed veterinarian or an animal poison-control service immediately. Do not delay care because of information from this site.

AI and Third-Party Information
